The Uber driver was even confused locating the property late at night - it is an office building. The address 6 Loukianou is what should be used rather than 6 Loukianou “7”. It was clear once we found the key code on the office building to get in. It was fine taking the elevator to the 6th floor then walking to the 7th. We arrived to find the Penthouse not cleaned ( dirty towels, sheets, garbage etc). I contacted the host, Nikolia, through What’s App, & she promptly contacted the cleaning crew. They were very apologetic & arrived within 10 minutes. Aside for the few issues, the Penthouse is lovely with a hot tub, loungers & incredible views of the city & the Parthenon from the terrace & picture windows. The Kolonacki neighborhood is very cool & vibrant. We walked a few blocks & found a great cafe called Queen Bee for coffee & breakfast. It is centrally located to walk about 20-30 minutes to Syntagma Square & wonderful restaurants.
The flat bottom sheet on the bed- would have appreciated a fitted bottom sheet that stays on the bed & doesn’t bunch up.

Very close to the centre of Athens, museums, mini markets and food places within walking distance. Very well maintained and some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you could ask for.
With it being the only hotel/place to stay in the building and the rest of the floors being taken up by law offices, you feel like you have the entire building to yourself. We stayed for a week and I saw 1 other person in the building.
The only slight thing id mention would be lack of glasses. But these are cheap to buy in local markets and I can imagine may get broken by other guests as there is ample supply of cutlery, plates and cups etc.

The position is great.
The apartment living area is spacious.
Large fridge and freezer.
Huge balcony.
Very little equipment in the kitchen, e.g. only 2 mugs (one was chipped), 3 teaspoons, plug/bung did not hold the water in kitchen sink so washing up only by running water, one fry pan with scratched non stick coating which we were not happy to use, no toaster, only sandwich toaster or grill in oven, overall not really set up for self catering.
The bed sheet was not large enough so was always untucked.
Table and some chairs on balcony in bad condition. Two sides of the hot tub were not attached.
No instructions for anything that we could find.
Apartment was not particularly clean, nor the windows, and the shower base looks a bit in need of attention. Weird smell in bathroom.
In summary we think it used to be great, but has been allowed to be run down and is in need of some tidying up and repairs. Shame.
