About this cottage rental
Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the Mecklenburg Lake District, far away from the tourist hot spots. The vacation home is located right on the lake and features a private dock and boat. It’s tucked away on the outskirts of the village of Wanzka, home to an old monastery. The monks surely appreciated the peace and quiet and the unique location nestled between two lakes. Even though you’ll be completely undisturbed here, any kids traveling with you will quickly make friends at the village’s nearby swimming spot.
Even outside the swimming season, our little thatched cottage offers plenty of amenities for a relaxing vacation. There’s a cozy gas fireplace where you can alternate between gazing into the fire and out at the lake. There’s also a small sauna house on the property. Due to high electricity prices, we charge a usage-based fee of 5 euros per hour for sauna use. Otherwise, electricity, bed linens, towels, and final cleaning are, of course, included in the price.
