Location was close to main duomo area and room size is fairly big. Room is well equipped with most things you need, and a fully functional pantry. Andrea in particular helped with lift issues when we arrived with a cheery demeanor - and we appreciate this as good hospitality. We had electrical issues and they fixed it promptly during hours of 9am - 6pm
Pls be aware that support is given only 9am - 6pm, and even though domya provides a WhatsApp emergency line for after 6pm, my experience was there will not be any support post 6pm. So guests will likely be on your own off working hours if you have issues - especially in a 100/200 year old building (unlike a regular hotel with 24/7 front desk)
Our experience: The lift was not working when we arrive (though subsequently repaired) and damaged again when we checked out before 9am, to which we had to move multiple large suitcases down 5 flights of stairs and this is not acceptable. We informed them the night before through the emergency line (as it was after 6pm when we came back from dinner) but no response. We understand that managing an older building is challenging, so the issue is not with malfunctioning lift but lack of support.
Domya offered nothing beyond apologies and platitudes with our current stay. It was our last stop in Italy and tad disappointing to end our trip with struggling large suitcases down flights of stairs early in the morning.
Small inconveniences: steps in multiple places (albeit small ones) like in front of lift and 2 steps in the room especially with multiple large suitcases. Bathroom is lacked of hooks and counter space
