Top quality accommodation with high end fixtures, fittings & furnishings. Never slept in a more comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean inside and outside on decking area. Driveway parking with level access directly onto decking surrounding the lodge. Property has elevated position looking over treetops towards meadows and Earsham with the fairly busy Flixton Road below. Despite proximity to the road, this is a quiet neighbourhood. Fen Farm Dairy a short walk down the road is well worth a visit for superb cheeses, raw milk, eggs, bakery products, takeaway coffees and other local produce. A self service system.
Was initially disappointed that the outside chairs shown in photographs had been replaced by a wooden picnic table, but in fact that probably served me better for the craft work I was doing. Gary and Teresa also kindly provided me with 2 different outdoor chairs of their own. They also lent me a cafetière which wasn’t provided in the accommodation. A tray to carry drinks/meals outside would also have been useful.

We really enjoyed our week at Wood Lodge. It was perfect for exploring around Bungay and we would definitely book again.

Stunning property, we absolutely loved staying here and look forwards to coming back again in the future. Property is in a great location, and had all the amenities we required. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for hosting us at your wonderful property!
