everything and everyone was excellent. Staff was on 24/7, no one was just punching buttons, from house keeping to front desk, door staff, and the ladies at the bottle shop, everyone was engaged and engaging. The lobby was fun with the broadcast of the world cup. Breakfast staff never missed a beat, food was replenished, clean up was efficient. Front desk staffs a bartender, and she knows her stuff.
Lots to recommend. If you're looking for a pool and a tourist trap, keep looking. This hotel is a throwback to a time of civility, elegance and grandeur.
Carry on.
