Please, come on in: The modernly furnished “Strönwai” apartment is located in the heart of Westerland on the third floor of a residential complex. It measures approximately 30 square meters and has a south-facing balcony. It’s perfect for sunbathing or for enjoying the lively vacation atmosphere of the Strandstraße pedestrian zone below. By the way, it’s less than a five-minute walk to the sea from here.
Even today, the promenade features summer spa concerts, the wooden promenade, architectural remnants from the heyday of the seaside resort era, and authentic Frisian cookies, baked according to the original recipe from 1888, at Café Wien on Strandstraße. Friedrichstraße offers everything you’d expect when shopping and dining out are part of your relaxation, and the surrounding buildings—full of vacation apartments—impress with, in some cases, magnificent panoramic views of the city and/or the North Sea.
