Check-in was easy, and the host did answer all the questions we had and was very helpful. She arranged a transport by “Aluguer“ to and from the harbour, which was really convenient.
The apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The AC works perfectly, the kitchen has everything you need, and the area is nice and quiet. We didn’t get around to using the balcony, but it’s a nice little bonus (and it has a nice view). The bed is comfortable and spacious enough for two people to sleep without laying over each other (I guess it’s ~160 cm). The sheets and towels provided were all clean as well.
The host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She’s a remarkable friendly person.
Ribeira Grande is also a great base for exploring Santo Antão and discovering all the hiking trails the island has to offer.
This is not really a negative point, but the only small reason why we would rate our stay 9/10 (excellent) rather than 10/10 (exceptional). The kitchen had salt and piri-piri, and having a few other basics like cooking oil or some spices would have been a nice little extra. But this is absolutely not meant as criticism.

Apartamento espaçoso, central, fácil acesso, cama confortável.
Tivemos dificuldade com o entupimento dos ralos das duas casas de banho, que foi resolvido de um dia para o outro. O apartamento reservado, com camas de solteiros, não estava operacional, o que fomos para um apartamento com camas de casal.
