The location of Roel Boutique is fantastic for exploring the Maltese Three Cities – everything is within walking distance. It’s also very close to the airport and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants. The hotel has four floors, but thankfully there is an elevator.
The rooms are very spacious. The only minor downside in the bathroom was the lack of space for toiletries, though that seems to be a common trend in hotels these days. I’m not overly demanding, so the hotel was really fine for me.
The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast. While they offer hot options like beans, sausages, and pancakes, they weren't actually warm, even when I came right at the start of breakfast service. Aside from that, there was cold cut meat, cheese, fresh Maltese bread, hard-boiled eggs, and some vegetables. As for drinks, the black coffee was good, but the cappuccino was way too sweet, and the orange juice tasted a bit off/spoiled.
