Beautiful property, great location Rite on the beach everything you could hope for.
Unfortunately, our wonderful family celebration was completely overshadowed when we were burgled while we were inside the house.
There were 12 of us in the living room watching rugby when intruders managed to force open our main bedroom window, despite all the windows and doors being locked. They stole numerous valuable and sentimental belongings, including my irreplaceable wedding ring, which contained diamonds gifted to me by my mother-in-law, my husband’s passport, his entire bag and gifts we had brought for our family.
I had been in the bedroom just 10 minutes earlier. When I returned, the window was wide open, our belongings were strewn across the room and halfway out of the window, and our valuables were gone. I believe I interrupted the intruders, causing them to flee. Thankfully, they did not make their way through the rest of the house.
What disappointed us most was the lack of support from the property management company. There were security cameras in the alleyway facing the window through which the intruders entered. Despite repeatedly requesting the footage, we were told it could not be obtained because the cameras belonged to the neighbouring property. Surely, given the seriousness of the incident, more effort could have been made to contact the neighbours or their rental agency. To this day, we have received no follow-up or further information.
The security system also needs improvement. There is no visible panel or clear indication of whether the alarm and outside beams are armed. It makes only a faint beep, leaving you unsure whether the property is actually secured. The bedroom hairdryer was also unusable as there was no compatible plug socket.
I am sharing this experience to warn future guests to be extremely vigilant, even when inside the property with all doors and windows locked. Paternoster is a beautiful town, but this incident and the lack of follow-up from management left a very bad taste in our mouths.

Stunning location right on the beach. Nice heated pool and great security
For a large group, I would suggest extra chairs or a couch. As the house can sleep 10 people, there is not enough seating.

Die Lage, direkt am Strand in Paternoster. Das Haus ist neu und toll durchdacht.
Klimaanlage und / oder anderes lautes brummen vor dem Master Bedroom. Liegen wären toll damit man sich Tagsüber im Schatten aufhalten kann.

Het is een heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht op zee. Alle slaapkamers zijn ruim en de hele opzet is royaal en licht.
Het had van ons iets koeler mogen zijn. Een airco in de slaapkamer was toch wel fijn geweest. We raden ook aan om een kluis aan te brengen.
