It's a peaceful location (with parking), a short walk from famous sights. The hotel is very much a luxury feel with Aircon, honesty bar in a comfy lounge, a spa area with sauna and amazing breakfast.
Hans was super helpful and booked us a restaurant and suggested things we could do during the day too.
Honestly it was wonderful but one small improvement would be that I would love a wall clip for the shower head so that I could shower without getting my hair wet (it is absolutely possible now, but you have to hold the shower head to do that).

We enjoyed everything about this property! The owners Hans & Tamara are splendid hosts. The completely renovated property is beautiful with so much care and attention given to detail. It is situated on a canal in a quiet section of the old city. Easy taxi from the station, & an easy walk to the center of Bruges also the breakfast was delicious.
Our stay was too short. We should have planned for more days in Bruges to enjoy this beautiful property more.

Excellent stay, with thoughtful, attentive hosts. Breakfast was a highlight!

If you could score more than excellent this would be it. From the moment you arrive to the moment you reluctantly leave Hans and Tamara are the ultimate hosts. Rooms are beautiful, breakfast was excellent and it’s so close to everything you want to see. Hosts were more than helpful with everything from arranging taxis to providing a takeaway breakfast for us because we were leaving before breakfast started. I would recommend Quay 17 without hesitation. Thank you Hans & Tamara for a truly memorable stay
