3am lock box treasure hunt

The place itself wasn't unpleasant and the area around was quite lovely

They failed to mention the lock box was no where near the apartment being at the office in town (over an hour walk). I can only hope the next one's to stay will be told this explicitly, as omitting that small detail really turned a delayed flight into a nightmare as we discovered it at 3am after searching half of Mijas for the key. Being gaslit for "not reading the email" was a delightful treat to top it off, despite 7 re-reads proving that no mention of this detail was ever made. 2 ubers later and over an hour wasted, we finally were permitted to go to sleep. Thankfully they offered their "sincere apologies" so I suppose that's that. If you're going to pay the prices they're charging, you can find much better.

Wonderful apartment, perfect for that breakaway from the every day rat race!

Wonderful breakaway! What can I say - a wonderful weekend spent in the Mijas apartment. The pictures do not do the view justice - it was truly beautiful! Based in a quiet residential complex, the apartment is clean and very well furnished and has all the extras you could wish for on your breakaway - the kitchen is VERY well equipped - The patio/balcony has a lovely large table with an amazing view. Two sun loungers to laze away in the sun! - Comfortable couches, perfect for the down time after a day out sightseeing - Comfortable beds and quality bedding - Both bedrooms are en-suite (which is rare in holiday homes) - Dedicated, secure underground parking - Multiple gorgeous pools (only open for use in the summer months) We spent a perfect weekend visiting nearby towns (including Marbella, which is an easy 30min drive away) and even managed some runs along the picturesque promenade starting at La Cala de Mijas. Tip - Should you not wish to cook on holiday, there are some great restaurants within walking distance. We can recommend the Indian restaurant and the Italian - great prices a delicious food! Can’t wait to return to the apartment again during the summer months to enjoy the pools as well!
