Absolutely horrible.

The view

This should have been a nice peaceful mountain vacation but instead we arrived to the unit with construction workers looking at us eyes to eye…and we were on the third floor. Loud renovation was going on with sawing, hammering, and scaffolding with workers all around our porch. This should have been disclosed before we drove 5 1/2 hours to stay. When this was brought up to the property manager he said that the loud part would only last mostly that day but that they would be power washing and painting the next day or so. I asked to be relocated to a unit that was located away from the renovations but no resolution was offered that day. The worse part was still to come. We woke the next morning to find two members of our family sleeping on the couch and floor because they found bedbugs in the bed (at least 5) Before they crawled away she took a picture of one, killed it, and placed in a Sprite bottle. Not knowing what kind of bug it was we looked it up online to find that it was a bed bug! In the meantime another family member found one on a sock that was left in the floor in a different bedroom. We placed it in the bottle with the other one. Mind you, we are clean people that have never seen a bed bug and we had people from two different households, that did not travel together, staying in separate rooms that found the bugs. I contacted the manager again to notify him of what was found and asked to be moved immediately. He was very unprofessional, said his wife was the one that cleans and they do not have bedbugs. He basically called me a liar and said they would have a K-9 unit come to inspect. He then said it was obvious that we were not happy with the unit from the start and that he had discussed with the owner and they agreed that we needed to leave the premises immediately…with no alternative to be moved to another location. I stated that we would leave but that I wanted to be present for the inspection to show the evidence we had.

It was modern mostly

One door would not lock, there were tiny ants, one shower head would only give you a stream of water and there was a sticky spill on the hall floor. There was also a dead mouse smell as you entered the stairwell. I did email with some of these concerns but was not going to rearrange our vacation to have the guy come and look at the lol but he would t have been able to get it to lock if he tried.

Great views from the condo, plenty of opportunities to see bears, clean and quiet.

The drive to the condo can be unsettling for an inexperienced driver. The indoor pool was a bit over-chlorinated.
