-Outdoor Amenities-

Five private acres of boulders and high desert surround the two homes, with hiking trails right in the backyard. Each home has its own hot tub, and the cowboy tubs are there for cooling off; they are not in-ground pools and are closed November through March. Two outdoor showers, two propane grills and sun loungers complete the outdoor spaces.



-Living Area-

The interiors are the work of Tiffany's jewelry designers Yves Kamioner and Michael Baiamonte, mixing high-end furnishings with custom-designed decoration. Each home has its own living space, so the group can gather together or spread out.



-Kitchen and Dining-

Both homes have fully stocked kitchens, and each has a propane grill outside for dinner as the light fades over the rocks.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

House #1 (lower): Bedroom 1 has a king bed, Bedroom 2 a queen bed and Bedroom 3 a king bed, each with an ensuite bathroom.



House #2 (higher): Bedroom 4 has a king bed and Bedroom 5 a queen bed, each with an ensuite bathroom, and Bedroom 6, in the casita, has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom.



The listing can accommodate up to 16 guests, but there are only 6 beds on the property. If you plan to have 16 guests, please bring your own air mattresses for the additional 4 guests.

Stairway to Heaven sits by Pioneertown, the 1940s western movie set turned working town, and Pappy & Harriet's. La Copine, Joshua Tree National Park and the Integratron make good outings.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



You will receive a digital keypad code for each home, giving you full access to both properties during your stay.

Other Things to Note:

-Cowboy Tubs-

The pools at Stairway to Heaven are cowboy tubs, not in-ground pools. The cowboy tubs are drained and unavailable for guest use during the winter months (November through March) to prevent the filters from freezing and breaking.



-Guest Count and Beds-

The listing can accommodate up to 16 guests, but there are only 6 beds on the property. If you plan to have 16 guests, please bring your own air mattresses for the additional 4 guests.



-BBQ Rules-

The BBQs are connected directly to a gas line. Please do not use charcoal, wood, lighter fluid or any other fuel, as this can cause serious damage, fire or an explosion. Turn the gas off after each use, never leave a grill unattended, and brush and wipe down the grates after cooking. Using unsafe materials will incur an extra cleaning charge, and damage caused by misuse of a grill may result in additional fees.



-House-Specific Rules-

► Approved early check-in and late check-out requests are $50 per hour.

► Please keep music at a reasonable volume and turn it off by the start of quiet hours.

► Please rinse off oils, lotions and other substances before entering the hot tubs, as these can affect water quality. Keep the covers on when not in use, and no drinking in the hot tubs, please.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The hot tubs and cowboy tubs are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, and service may fall during your stay. Our technician will go directly to the backyards. Please avoid using a hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily higher.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there are exterior cameras facing the driveways, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the homes or in any private areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
