8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Fantastic. It was a little strange to learn that the front desk was mainly unattended, but that didn't end up being an issue at all. Wonderful, comfortable room. Quiet, except for that moment at around 2am when the entire country cheered Scotland's goal in the World Cup. The only thing that was mildly inconvenient was the parking situation. There is a parking lot behind the building, but it wasn't cheap. Parking at the bus station down the road was much more affordable, but a bit of a walk with luggage, etc.

Excellent location - right in the middle of Stirling with a car park just behind the hotel which was very convenient.
Plenty of nice restaurants nearby to choose from and a short walk uphill to the castle.

We enjoyed our stay ! Initially I was a bit dubious from outside it looked a bit tired but room was lovely and had everything we needed for a short stay , there was a car park round the back which was a surprise definitely recommend

The front door lock a little difficult. The guy from the bar helped me.
