I’m a backpacker and I feel like Surfhouse is one of my favourite “Hostels” that I been to. Not necessarily because it has crazy special furniture or so but because Lisa really makes you feel like home there. She helped so much with everything that was going on (“rainy” season) and we always got what we needed. What seems to be complicated with other hostels, is very easy at the Surhouse: the communication for the booking and everything (thanks to Charlotte!!), Check in etc. free towels, cleaning every day (which was really needed!). Everything is super easy and calm. What you need you can find nearby and the beach is also not far. It’s nice to have been in the village/ town because there are events like caipoera, and places to go out. In general I can point out that the surfhouse is quite specious and cosy. The kitchen provides everything you need and my little favourite has been the rooftop. Go there by night and you have an amazing sky view. They also offer yoga there on Wednesday for a small fee.
The tours from the provider they work with are also recommended- even though their main costumers aren’t backpackers.

Nice located, everything is within walking distance. Very friendly people! The premises are also lovingly furnished and the rooftop terrace is perfect for chilling or doing yoga (yoga mats are provided).

Etablissement idéal tant par sa situation géographique que par son confort et sa décoration. Charlotte et Maëlle sont super réactives et extrêmement gentilles. Le lieu est propice à faire de belles rencontres (surtout si l'on voyage seule !). Je recommande à 100%.
Le seul petit bémol à été la chaleur. J'ai eu un peu chaud la nuit malgré le ventilateur mis à disposition. Mais la literie étant très confortable, cela m'a permis de quand même bien dormir.
