This property is a scam! They refused to return my security deposit, claiming false damages.

Avoid this property at all costs. The owner was unprofessional and did not return my security deposit, claiming false damages. Despite charging 500 AED for cleaning at booking, they attempted to charge extra for minor stains that could be cleaned easily. There was also a pre-existing issue with the stove, which they blamed on me and demanded an unreasonable amount to fix. The check-in process was chaotic, with no guidance or support, and promised amenities like late check-in and complimentary items were not provided. This was the worst experience I’ve had in Dubai. I strongly recommend avoiding this property if you want a stress-free trip.

I stayed at this apartment for 5 nights, and it was an extremely bad experience. When I made the booking, it was clearly mentioned that a 1000 AED security deposit would be paid in cash. However, the owner insisted I transfer it online to their bank account. Despite sending the payment, nobody came during the check-in time, and I had to check in myself. During check-out, I called the owner to inspect the apartment and return my security deposit. She refused to come and assured me that her team would inspect it later and refund my deposit. However, after two hours, she sent me a picture of a stained bedsheet (a stain that could easily be cleaned in a regular wash) and claimed it would incur extra laundry charges. I reminded her that I had already paid more than 500 AED in cleaning fees at the time of booking, but she kept coming up with excuses to withhold my deposit. Additionally, there was an issue with the stove button during my check-in—it was already loose and the spring inside was damaged. She later claimed it would cost 200 AED to fix, which was unreasonable as it’s a minor issue and was pre-existing. When I suggested a fair charge (20-30 AED for a spring replacement), she refused to cooperate. I feel scammed and disrespected, especially since I was traveling with my family, including two small daughters. Despite my efforts to resolve this peacefully, she is still withholding my deposit. To make matters worse, the booking included false promises such as late check-in options and complimentary items (e.g., wine or juice), none of which were provided. The apartment was hard to access, with no clear guidance for first-time visitors to Dubai. The owner’s unprofessional and deceptive behavior ruined our stay, and I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. This is the worst experience I’ve had in Dubai, a city I’ve visited many times without issues. If I do not get my deposit back, I will escalate this matter to Dubai Police.

The room would be good for two if the equipment was functioning. Good location. Terrible experience though.

I liked the location and the people at the front desk.

I didn’t like the fact that the bedroom was prepared for two instead of 4, no pillows, no sheets, just two towels for four. The air conditioner temperature could not be changed, leading to very cold nights (without blanket) for 3 nights. The kitchen’s equipments had a false contact, sometimes working sometimes not. Last but not least, the owner wants 500€ in cash as a deposit. She did not give the deposit back when we left, it has been almost a month now and we are still waiting for it. Terrible experience overall.
