The unit was excellent both in condition and appliances and the range of coffee, tea, chocolate etc was good.
The aircon, central heating, towel warmers and bathroom heaters all helped make those almost freezing nights very comfortable.
The complex is such a beautiful environment with a great park and adventure playground on the other side of the Avon River a few metres away. Walking was easy to town centre in a few short blocks and also very pleasant following the river to get there.
We couldn't find the remote for the central heating... but the aircon unit's one was there and we could open windows to regulate the heat.
The key locker was a bit stiff and difficult to reach (being short) and to see when you arrive after midnight...
The bathroom lights tuned off when I showered as they are motion-sensitive and only responded to motion at the sink or on the toilet. That is energy saving gone too far.

Conveniently located and easy getting around the city.
Nothing to dislike, except it can be a bit noisy from passing traffic at the room fronting Manchester Street.

The location
The pin to discard rubbish didn’t work. Carrying suitcases upstairs - no no ! The doors were heavy & shut behind you / no way to keep open to get a bag in. Easy to get locked out! No scrubber to wash dishes. Dishcloths/swabs not suitable. Didn’t like 2nd floor. Address was hard to find! Drive around with GPS was frustrating
