Horrific flat and extremely poor experience.

Absolutely nothing.

When we arrived at the property we opened the main door with a keyfob collected from the lockbox on the outside. On first impressions outside the condition of the property was extremely poor. As soon as we opened the door to the corridor we were hit with the terrible smell of urine, the corridor to the flat is filthy also. We made our way to the flat hoping it would improve however on arrival at the flat the smell inside was worse. The floor was sticky to our feet as we went in. In the kitchen various cupboard doors were in poor condition, the floor and skirtings were dirty along with inside the cupboards, having old food, garlic and rice strayed accross the cupboard. The inner windows in the kitchen are damp, mouldy and boarded up outside. At this point we had seen enough, we left the property and found suitable accomodation elsewhere. This place is shocking, it is nowhere near a standard to sleep in, let alone rent. We immediately messaged the host via booking.com and requested a refund less reasonable costs for the process etc and explained that we were not staying in the flat. The flat owner didnt reply untill 4 days later after multiple messages and basically said that it wss booking.com's issue. I also contacted booking.com directly who have been absolutely shocking with their customer service. The flat was absolutely substandard and under the consumer rights act booking.com have a duty to provide suitable accomodation which this is not. Do not book this place, you will 100% regret it!

Large and pretty, good value despite negative items mentioned.

Unit is well located, kitty corner from main bus station, block from M&S with food hall, and ten-minute walk to train station, V&A and Discovery Point. It is large and well renovated, very nicely decorated and equipped, including excellent wi-fi and TV.

Door to building has graffiti tags, the trip up two flights and down halls will have you thinking you mistakenly rented a tenement, but if you're not dismayed and stick with it the unit itself is a very pleasant surprise. An exception is one of the twin mattresses that make up the full bed, which is so dilapidated you can feel each of the springs. Couch is a matter of taste.
