Welcome to Casa Soleil. Our smoke-free 4-star vacation home is located on the outskirts of the idyllic village of Contra, overlooking the Ticino River valley and Lake Maggiore, about 4 km from Locarno. During the warm summer months, a pleasantly refreshing breeze blows in from the Verzasca Valley. In spring and fall—and even in winter—many sunny days ensure a comfortably warm climate.
Casa Soleil was built in the charming style of the 1960s amid a vineyard sloping down toward Lake Maggiore. In 2008, it underwent an eco-friendly renovation, was certified as electrobiologically safe, and was tastefully redecorated. The lower 45-square-meter Rosarossa apartment has been newly tiled and furnished with a new sofa and new curtains. All of the large rooms offer a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore and the mountains surrounding the lake. Casa Soleil is set back from the traffic and accessible via an idyllic staircase. It is quiet and, in some spots, secluded from view.
