Location is first rate. clean and spacious apartment, with everything you need. Cafes and restaurants within easy walk.
NO LIFT. it’s an arduous climb with suitcases to the top floor -4.
Lighting in stairwell wasn’t working properly. There are Low ceilings and skinny stairs in the apartment with many opportunities to bump head in mezzanine area. Car parking can be difficult, we were lucky to find a spot in street nearby.

L'appartement est très bien équipé.

Great location. Comfortable loft conversion.
Whilst there was air conditioning in the apartment that worked efficiently downstairs, during such a heatwave the sleeping area on the mezzanine level remained very hot. Perhaps a portable fan would be useful.
Fitness level needs to be high due to being on the 4th floor and no elevator in the old building in Aix en Provence. Cute little Italian restaurant downstairs Da Aldo serving some of the best homemade gnocchi.
