Ein schönes, nostalgisches Gasthaus in toller Lage mit Restaurant. Empfehlenswert!

Ein schönes, nostalgische Gasthaus mit Restaurant (leckeres Essen, Südtiroler Küche). Die Lage ist fantastisch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ins Donautal und Ausflüge in die Nähere Umgebung. Abwohl eine Bundesstrasse direkt nebenan vorbeiführt war es wunderbar ruhig. Das Zimmer (mit sehr großem Balkon) war toll, sauber und sehr komfortabel. Sogar eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank etc. war vorhanden. Rundum: eine unbedingte Empfehlung.

Einmal und nie wieder!!!!

Wir waren als Hotelgäste zwei Nächte in diesem Haus und haben im Restaurant mit Freunden gegessen. 4x Zwiebelrostbraten mit Spätzle für 29.90 Euro. Das Gericht war eine absolute Katastrophe. Das Rindfleisch war komplett trocken, faserig und zäh was darauf schliessen lässt, dass das Fleisch wohl in gefrorenem Zustand auf medium gebraten wurde, die Spätzle wie auch die Sosse waren kalt. Selbst die Teller wurden kalt gebracht. Auf unsere Reklamation hin war der Serviceangestellte zwar bemüht, peinlich berührt und freundlich, nahm die Teller zurück, brachte sie jedoch keine fünf Minuten später nach einem offensichtlichen Mikrowelleneinsatz exakt in ähnlich, kalten Zustand an den Tisch zurück. Es erübrigte sich die Frage ob es uns geschmeckt hat. Grundsätzlich hätten wir erwartet, dass der Koch sich persönlich am Tisch meldet und sich erklärt oder entschuldigt und dazu Stellung bezieht. Leider hielt er dies nicht für nötig, sondern wälzte sein Unvermögen auf den Serviceangestellten ab der sich zwar mehrmals entschuldigte aber nichts weiter zur Verbesserung hätte beitragen können. . Man sollte dazu erwähnen, der Restaurantbetrieb war um 19.00 h eher spärlich besucht also von Zeitdruck oder ähnlichem konnte kaum die Rede sein. Fehler passieren und falls das Fleisch eine mindere Qualität hatte, kann der Koch nicht zaubern, aber wenn er gleich viermal versagt und auch die Beilagen wie auch die Sosse in kaltem Zustand an den Tisch gebracht werden ist dies ein absolutes Armutszeugnis für diese Gastronomie. Als Krönung wurde uns daraufhin eine vermeintliche ‚Kulanzlösung‘ in Form einer Preisreduktion von lächerlichen 8 € auf die Gesamtsumme von 148 € angeboten. Das ist bei dieser gravierenden Minderleistung eine absolute Farce und zeugt von einer völlig verfehlten Kundenorientierung. Preis/Leistung steht in keinem Verhältnis, weshalb wir für dieses Hotel keinerlei Empfehlung aussprechen werden und uns nur wundern können, warum im Netz von 4,7 von 5 Sternen geschwärmt wird.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die sehr gute Küche hat uns ein hervorragendes Abendessen bereitet. Auf Sonderwünsche wegen Lebenmittelunverträglichkeiten wurde geachtet.
