A charming house showcasing the typical architecture of the Cotswolds. The house is beautifully furnished, with tasteful and carefully chosen décor that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The fireplace is a wonderful feature, perfect for cosy evenings, and firewood is provided.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.
Overall, a lovely and comfortable place to stay, full of charm and character, especially for those looking for a peaceful countryside getaway. We rated it: 9.5/10
A minor drawback: Grocery stores are relatively scarce nearby, so it is best to plan your meals and shopping in advance. Given the rural location, having a car is also essential for getting around and visiting nearby villages.

The style and coziness. Beautifully decorated with a lovely view over the fields. Thoughtful extras in the kitchen on our arrival were much appreciated.
The only slight negative I can think of were the Roman blinds, which were a bit awkward to put up and down

Really nice property in a brilliant location, very peaceful with open fields opposite great for a dog, pub/restaurant within walking distance.
dishwasher didn't clean well, too much furniture and ornaments, downstairs toilet smelled, and blinds poor design kept catching on windows.

The location was excellent.
The cottage was so much smaller than the photos gave the impression of (why do people do this?).
It was excessively overfilled with massive lamps and ornaments which made it even more cramped.
The bed was uncomfortable.
There was minimal provision for washing-up - limited dishwasher tablets and no washing-up brush or tea towels.

"Beautiful and comfortable cottage in a quiet location. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the Valentine's dinner at the Village Pub was a highlight. Definitely recommend!"
