FGS CLEAN & FIX THE PLACE A BIT

The only good things about the place is that it was convenient to both the events I was working and the other guests were polite.

When I get a bargain stay, I do expect things to be well lived in, no frills, and maybe not so conveninent. But I do expect the place to not be a hot mess. The room itself was mostly clean and the bed linens had been washed. But the rest of the house was smelly and dirty, with dust wads and hair caked on floors, doors, and any available crevice. The bathroom wasn't as bad as the kitchen but holy crap, take some bleach to the place. The kitchen needs pressure washing, inside the cupboards even had old food caked on. The doors, stair rail, and light switches were sticky, and the refrigerator and most of the lights didn't work. I tried to clean the shower but the drain was blocked up. There is on street parking but the neighbors are definitely not happy about it. The owner appears to be using the place as a rubbish tip; the garden could be really good if they'd just clean up all the broken mess and got rid of all the stuff holding mucky water. I was grateful it wasn't really hot weather yet or the mosquitoes and midges would've been a nightmare. Also glad it was still fairly cool weather because you can't leave the windows open for long without the reek of the neighbor's weed coming in. That might be a plus for somebody but it gives me a sinus headache. I had one anyway from the rest of the house. If we'd had a practical option at that point we'd've just left and gone somewhere else.

Good size room, fair price

Bathroom downstairs, quite far to go in the middle of the night to use it. Some of the guests were noisy and very inconsiderate that decided to put their laundry all over the house, namely the dining table chairs and anywhere they could hang them. The postcode on booking.com is completely wrong!

The place was generally okay and a good to stay at I would recommend it to anyone
