Very disappointing experience

Location

The room was improperly cleaned, dusty and the bed sheets were not washed properly. I contacted the host and was assured they will come and change the bed sheets the same day, that didn't happen. When receiving an email to ask about how my stay was going I selected the I have an issue field and asked to be contacted as soon as possible, that also didn't happen. The host has no ability to help with the main building door if any issues arise and you get locked out, I arrived late but well within the check-in time and the main panel to open the outdoor gate had been removed by someone and me and other guests couldn't enter the building. As the host has no physical presence near the property, only remote chats and calls, contacting them I was mostly ignored and received default answers, I entered the building based on luck as someone opened it from the inside. When the host finally replied they still weren't able to fix the issue and you couldn't enter the building even hours and hours later. The issue was fixed the following day but for an entire night and morning, no one came to at least find a temporary solution despite being notified. The windows don't close properly and all the cold air and noise from outdoors gets inside easily, making it very cold inside and no heating system is active either. The shower uses a very strange system and it's unituitive to say the least, I travel a lot and I never needed so much time to make a shower work properly with warm water.

Annoying Issues

The location was really good and the instructions to access the flat were really easy and accessible. There was a car parking nearby which made it easy with the suitcases. Lots of restaurants nearby. It had a big fridge with a freezer, it came in handy as we were travelling with frozen food on a cooler. The apartment looked brand new with nice decoration.

A few things we didn't like. We came with a buggy and it was difficult to go up the stairs with it. We asked for a cot and it wasn't available. The sofa bed was not open and the bed sheets were not prepared when we arrived, we had to do it ourselves. One of the room lights was always flashing as it clearly had an issue. The fan and TV remotes were not working due to low battery. The coffee machine was leaking water every time we made coffee. The toaster had an issue and one of the toasting slots was not working properly. Overall experience was okayish as it was a "brand new" apartment but these small things were annoying.

Excellently located, reasonably priced apartment, with great, responsive staff.

The location is excellent! Easy walking to major attractions, shops and restaurants just across or a stone’s throw away. It was clean. We especially appreciated their accommodation of early check-in and being able to leave our luggage at the nearby hotel after check out.

There was smell of cigarette smoke. There’s no Airconditioning and it felt hot inside the apartment. There are ceiling fans but it just blows hot air. You can choose to open the windows but you’ll have to contend with the noise in the pedestrian street below.

El alojamiento esta muy bien ubicado y es de fácil acceso, y esta en un sitio muy tranquilo. Estaba todo limpio y ordenado y es suficientemente amplio para dos personas.

El acceso se gestiona a través de la web y resulta un poco impráctico y confuso al principio. El equipamiento de la cocina es muy justo. Para 2 personas que compartan cama el alojamiento esta bien, pero para 3 personas usando sofa cama se vuelve muy incomodo porque obstaculiza totalmente el paso. No lo recomiendo para 3 personas.
