The staff, food and common area was excellent. As we were in the budget tent we could store our bags in the upstairs common area and relax on the couch with an amazing view of Kilimanjaro.
On arrival our budget tent had 2 broken zips which we didn’t notice until we went to bed. They were promptly fixed the next day but should have been fixed prior. One mattress in the tent was an inner spring and comfy and the other a foam mattress that wasn’t any good.

Staff was very nice and did anything they could to accomodate our needs. They gave us another cottage with a bigger bed and everything was being handled very straightforward. The cottages are very cozy and tasteful. The whole hotel is using green energy and donates to local community projects. Very personal athmosphere with only a few guests.
It comes with B&B, lunch and dinner come at additional cost,, however each meal is 15$ per person which is quite expensive compared to what you get. Also, the rooms could need a sideboard to store your belongings. Due to solar energy, the water is very cold in the morning.

Pas de brosse pour nettoyer les toilettes
Dîner près du feu pour nuit de noces non réalisé et pourtant ils nous avaient dit oui
Pas d’aide pour réservation de train ni d’achat de ticket pour le safari (nous avons du acheter notre ticket à la porte du parc et cela nous a fait perdre 25 minutes)
