Loved it all, lounge super comfy, kitchen divine, outside space at the back terrific and secret hidden garden a real find. Bathroom spot on, decor top notch, lots of bedding etc. Great location at the top of the hill away from the madness of the harbour- what a hill that is. Co-op v close by, and great local pub/ cafe. Parking at the back was really helpful.

This property was one of those gems, not that much to look at from the outside, but the inside was deceptively spacious and well appointed. Everything we could have needed for a longer stay if we'd had the time. Washing machine, well equiped kitchen, plenty of seating for about 6/7. Really nice, thanks.
It was also very close to the bus stop, which was ideal for accessing different parts of the wonderful Cleveland Way Walk and the nearby Cinder Track Cycle path.

The house is up the top of Staithes so easy to find and there is parking and a garage behind the house, although the garage door is too small for my Insignia to get in.
The cleanliness wasn't great. There were large crumbs and pet hairs on the sofa, cobwebs on the ceiling and dust on the floors. I had to get the hoover out to sit down.
The back bedroom single bed was very comfortable and the view is lovely.
The shower drain is blocked as you could only shower for 5 minutes before it rose to the top of the tray and had to turn it off. I did email the host but I have not had any reply from her. Hence why I am reviewing it now.
Overall I had a nice stay as the house is a good size and there was everything you would need, so if the 2 issues I have raised are fixed then I would return.
