About this house rental
We warmly welcome you to Engelsbach, a small village in the Thuringian Forest—far away from industry, the stress of everyday life, noise, and large-scale agriculture.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, the fresh air, and our Thuringian Forest—the Green Heart of Germany—in all its glory.
Our modernized and renovated vacation home (single-family house) is located in the center of town and right on the edge of the forest. It offers you the perfect setting for vacations, relaxation, and restful days all year round. From here, you can set out on short or long hikes in the Rennsteig region. Thanks to its central location, you can easily reach the cities of Gotha (15 km), Oberhof (25 km), Eisenach (35 km), Erfurt (50 km), and Weimar (70 km) with their world-famous sights.
Our vacation home (single-family house, excluding basement spaces) is available for your exclusive use. A staircase leads to the living area on the first floor, which features a large kitchen, a bathroom with toilet andbidet, as well as a bathtub or shower/tub combination, a third guest bedroom, and the living and dining area with a terrace located just outside, through which you can access the adjacent garden with a pool, sunbathing area, private sun deck, and barbecue area.
You can also reach the attic via a staircase. Here, we have prepared two Superior guest bedrooms and a small bathroom with a toilet and shower for you.
Behind the house and garden, you can walk directly through our meadow to the forest.
You’ll feel right at home here if you’re looking for peace and relaxation. We don’t offer the hustle and bustle, stress, or shopping, bar, and party districts—but we do offer plenty of nature, tranquility, relaxation, and a hiker’s paradise with many trails.
In our village, you’ll find a restaurant nearby/across the street (check opening hours!)—and more in the neighboring town of Friedrichroda.
