Lovely cosy cottage in a fantastic location right next to the 199 steps. The view was amazing! It was also very well equipped.
Some people would definitely struggle with the very steep slope up to the house and the steep internal staircase, but that was all part of the charm for us. A couple of bedside tables instead of chairs would have been useful in the room with the superking bed.

Excellent location. Cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely patio at the back. It was great having two toilets/wash areas.
The only thing was, although a few complimentary coffee sachets were available, there were no teabags! A cuppa tea would have been nice on arrival. Also lots of pepper, but no salt!

Cosy little cottage, with everything you would need. The location was perfect-being in the middle of the town centre. Lots of shops, cafes and pubs to explore. Just a 3 minute walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey and museum, perfect location to watch the sunset.
Beautiful views of the Harbour!
The parking made us alittle nervous- can be a struggle driving to Steps Cottage to drop luggage off, it gets really busy! Finally managed to find a street for parking with the W zone permit, but it was over a 10-15 minute walk away from Steps Cottage. We found the beds were not that comfy unfortunately and the pathway upto the front door of the cottage is very steep- the doorstep made me nervous!
