A great find in Paris!

This is a great place! Very spacious, especially with the two large bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen, very clean and updated bathroom and toilet. Barely any street noise. Honestly, a fantastic place to stay in Paris, with a metro a few minutes from the doorstep. The owner was very responsive and friendly.

Location

Location is excellent - just a few minute walk to the station with lots of great restaurants (!!!) and bars nearby. Key pickup was easy even though other reviewers mentioned having to contact the host to gain access. I’m glad I didn’t have to contact the host for anything important because when I did message them to ask if there was a hairdryer available (there is, I found it eventually) it went unanswered for my whole stay. It is not mentioned but this apartment is on the 2nd floor with a winding staircase so keep in mind if you are traveling with older people. The apartment was not cleaned thoroughly, dirt accumulating on the floor in the corners, dirty sponges left in the kitchen and bathroom, USED DIAPERS left in the trash can from the last visitor. There is no radiator in the common area so it is impossible to heat and on top of that, there’s a completely open (no glass covering it, no insulation save for a few blankets shoved in front of it) window-sized hole in a cabinet in the kitchen. Cold air filled with cigarette smoke from the courtyard was constantly blowing into the main living area. If you are traveling with 4-6 people, keep in mind there is no dining room table to eat at - just a small desk and there is only couch seating for 3. The host has provided small stools for additional seating. Pictures do not show this but the toilet and the shower are in different rooms, the toilet is 2 steps away from the couch making staying with a bigger group a little awkward. Again, the location is great and maybe in the more temperate seasons it would’ve been fine but having a giant hole in the living area is unacceptable. I did message the host about my issues and the cleaning issue and they said they’ll work on that and make my next experience better. Felt like a dishonest listing.
