My group of 6 adults found the apartment to be generally very comfortable. Whilst the stairs up to the apartment are a little challenging, the location in Monterossa al Mare was worth the effort.
The views from the verandah are absolutely superb. We were close to the station, the beach and many wonderful restaurants including La Cantina and L'Ancora della Tortuga.
The amenities were pretty good. The staff we spoke to "by phone" were friendly and helpful.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the apartment.
The following information is not meant as a criticism but more to provide useful information to Terra Marine regarding the accommodation.
* The ensuite sink (that ironically comes with a plunger) was disgusting. The issue is obviously an old and well known problem. The plunger is not at all effective and actually makes the issue worse with more muck coming back up into the sink. The drains need some serious plumbing work done on them.
* Whilst there are cupboards in the 3rd bedroom, they are all locked so there is no hanging space or clothes storage space in the 3rd bedroom which makes things very tight. Access to at least one cupboard would be handy.
*we were appreciative that Terra Marine sent staff to carry our bags up to the apartment. However, could I recommend that it in future, it should be someone actually strong enough to carry the bags and not drag them over the steps.
Perhaps tipping the two staff was a mistake, as we ended up carrying 3/4 of our luggage up ourselves in order to prevent damage being done to our bags.
Note: Perhaps providing more capable staff with a 6 wheel stair climbing trolley would make the task a lot easier as well.
*Note: One of the deck chairs was badly broken which was discovered by one of our group. It needs replacing as it could cause injury.

The breathtaking view, spacious apartment, and fantastic terrace made this a memorable stay. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked very well, and the location was convenient for exploring Cinque Terre.
The check-in and check-out process could have been clearer, and instructions for using the appliances would have been helpful. On the morning of our departure, we unexpectedly found ourselves locked inside the courtyard / stairwell area and couldn't immediately reach anyone, which was very stressful while trying to catch our train.
