About this apartment rental

Moschendorf is part of the town of Gößweinstein and has only 24 residents, no through traffic (it’s a dead end), and can only be reached via winding roads. You’ll find our vacation rental on the first floor of the first house on the left as you enter the village. The apartment is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, hikers, and families.

Thanks to its ground-floor location and the nearby rocks and trees, the apartment stays comfortably cool even in extreme heat.
There are 2 separate bedrooms: one with a double bed, a youth bed, and a crib; the other with a double bed and a single bed. The youth bed is also suitable for adults. The beds are equipped with slatted frames featuring shoulder support, pelvic relief, and individual firmness adjustment in the middle section (see photos for both).
For very large families, there are two additional sofa beds in the large living room (please inquire about details before booking). For commercial bookings, please book for a maximum of 5 people.
We have 7 chairs and a high chair for children up to 3 years old in the spacious dining room. Next to it is a pantry (food storage). We also have a writing and vanity desk. The living room has 2 sofas and a rocking chair. The toilet and bathroom are separate.
New in 2024: From March through September, the apartment was completely
renovated and refurnished. The vacation rental was first rented out in October 2024
.
New in 2025: In March, we bought a new garden table and
new garden chairs. There are also 2 benches and a table
available for children.
We’ll also be able to provide (almost) anything if you’re missing something.
Free parking is available. Unfortunately, there is no parking for very large vehicles. Bicycles, boats, and other items (up to 5m) can be stored in the garage free of charge, where they will stay dry and secure.

Weisses Huhn von Moschendorf:

Our (non-smoking) vacation rental, “Weisses Huhn von Moschendorf,” will be newly furnished in 2024 and rented out for the first time. It occupies the entire basement and features 2 bedrooms with a total of 6 beds and a crib, as well as a large living room and a kitchen with a dining area; two sofa beds provide additional sleeping accommodations.
The kitchenette is functionally equipped (including an oven). The bathroom features a bathtub and shower; the toilet is separate. In the living area, you’ll find a large, new flat-screen TV as well as a DVD and Blu-ray player.

For our youngest guests, up to about 3 years old, a crib and a high chair are available.

An ashtray is provided outside the house for smokers.

Check-in is possible from 3:00 to 11:00 p.m., and check-out is from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
