The location was central to everything I needed: the Western Cape Archives, the historic museums, coffee shops, and cultural activities. It was safe, and it was easy to Uber around from where I was staying if I did need to go farther.
There was nothing that I did not like. It was busy at all times of the day around the block, however, if that is a dealbreaker for some. There really is not anything that was not likeable about the area. The only thing I did not like was having to leave at the end of my stay.

the apartment had lots of natural light (and very nice views), was really clean and everything needed for comfortable living. Would definitely suit a longer staying guest as well. Nicky was very welcoming and was quick to answer if we had any problems/questions.
The bathroom light was a little bit low, so at nighttime the bathroom was really dark
