Fantastic location in an attic on top of a historic building inside the citadel of Bastia. A parking spot in the Citadel Parking garage is included and the apartment is very tidy and neat. All main places in town can be reached on foot.

It was absolutely fine for us but you have to be aware that the apartment is on the fourth floor, the staircase is rugged and there is no elevator.

Het appartement is 4 hoog binnen de citadel wat voor de aankomst wel wat extra inspanningen (5 trappen) geeft. Het is erg ruim maar je moet oppassen voor plafonds die aflopen omdat je onder het dak zit. Er zijn 2 dakramen van waaruit je een weids uitzicht hebt over Bastia en de haven. Parkeren is goed geregeld in een nabij gelegen ondergrondse parkeergarage, We werden bij de ingang van de garage opgevangen door de zus van onze gastvrouw. Zij begeleide ons verder naar het appartement. Alle communicatie verliep vlot en erg hartelijk. Ondanks onze leeftijd (76) maar wel goede conditie hebben we genoten van ons verblijf.

Je kunt alleen van het uitzicht genieten als je op een trapje gaat staan (wat ook aanwezig is). Je moet nogal eens gebukt lopen om te voorkomen dat je je hoofd stoot tegen de balken aan het plafond.

EVERYTHING!!! A wonderful big two bedroom apartment, kitchen with everything you need, amazing views of the sunrise. Great location by the Vieux Port. The host Nadia was brilliant and very helpful. Yes it is on the 4th floor of an old building in the Citadel with no lift but it didn't bother us! The apartment was worth every step!

It was perfect for us!
