Run, it's a scam.

A disaster. We didn't stay at the property and booked a 3-star hotel located 4 blocks from Arc de Triomph for the same price at the last minute. So it's not "you get what you pay for." There is a reason it's not refundable. There is a reason they don't show you pictures of the common areas of the building. It's falling to pieces. Literally. The apartment is on the 5th floor, no elevator. Normal for Paris, but the stairs were collapsing, the steps were loose and there were pieces of wood everywhere, the handrails, also wood, were torn apart in several places. It was impossible to go up those stairs with luggage. The fact that it is on the 5th floor with no elevator is the first thing one should read when booking. Instead, it's the last sentence. But especially, they should show pictures of what the stairs actually look like. No one would book it. The property owners washed their hands and said it was common areas of the building and not their responsibility. How am I supposed to get to the apartment without using the common areas?

This property shouldn't be on booking.com. There were a lot of negative reviews between the moment I booked and the time we arrived, talking about the same, mentioning bedbugs and how they didn't even stay there. They do business like this, apparently. I'm attaching pictures of the place. It looked like a construction site, literally. It's dangerous for anyone, especially for the elderly. My mom tripped and fell trying to go up one floor. I made it to the fifth floor and went back down immediately and booked something else. Paris is expensive, yes. It's not the most accessible, agreed. But this place is inhabitable. On top of that, I contacted the property and they told me they'd get support and then went silent. They never offered another apartment or any solution. A day before my alleged check out date they sent me an automated message reminding, like I never told them I wasn't staying there and I wanted a refund. Like I said, we booked Hotel Des Deux Avenues that same night, which is located a couple of blocks from Champs Elysees for less, where our room was bigger than this whole apartment, we had good natural light, and even a kettle and a minifridge. We are getting booking to refund us.

No.

The host was nice and responsive until we walking inside the studio. The rental is in central Paris, so very close to public transport and attractions.

We're very very disappointed. We felt tricked. The place had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Meaning that there was hair on the floor, in the sheets, on the decorative pillows... everywhere. Moreover, the sheets looked slightly stained, as if they had been slept in for multiple nights. I mean, it was clear that the bed had been made without changing the sheets. Considering how high the review of this place was when we booked it, we went back to Booking to read a similar complaint by the guest just before us. We contacted the host, explained the situation and decided to leave without staying the night. We informed the host of our decision. We sent them pictures and left the keys in the lock box, inviting them to verify our claims (OR just come by and clean?!). We had booked the place for multiple nights; it would have been very easy for them to just apologize, change the sheets and vacuum. Nope. We requested a refund, contacted Booking with evidence. The host just went silent.

The apartment was infested with bed bugs

Location was great

The apartment had a terrible bed bug infestation. My body was covered in bedbug bites that left marks on my for weeks & seriously disrupted the trip. Furthermore, the mangers of the facility promised to refund us for this horrible situation, and then went no contact. The scenario was both disgusting in terms of the bed bug infestation, and disgusting in terms of the lack of accountability & basic manners on the part of the management company.

Would be very nice if not....

The location was great. You can reach to Louvre , Opera and city center after 20min of walk. Actually the building is in 2nd arrondissement which means it is a City Center itself. Home was equipped with kitchen equipment and bathroom was comfortable.

My main complaint was the dirty bed cover . I suggest the owners or the agency to be more attentive to stuff like that. There were signs quite embarrassing. Yeah the apartment is on the 5 floor without elevator , yes it was bit small but : 1. This is Paris . 2. You get what you pay for. And this wasn't my first visite to Paris and im used to live in small hotel rooms and appartments. That's typical for Paris. If not the problem with the bed cover , probably I'd be more than satisfied with my choice raking into account that the price wasn't high...

Posizione e prezzo, proprietario molto disponibile

Also, eine einfache Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Wer es bequem mag und selbst kochen möchte, ist hier nicht ganz an der richtigen Stelle, denke ich.
