Not meeting the standard for the price paid

Location is about 20 minutes by subway from the Duomo di Milano, which is acceptable. The subway station is also within a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The property has a gated, private parking area, with plenty of available spaces. This was definitely a big plus. There is also a small, cute shopping center just a 3-minute walk away, which is very convenient for groceries, small restaurants, and cafés. The apartment was clean, although the standard of cleanliness was more in line with what you typically find in Italy, which is somewhat lower compared with other European countries. This was expected.

The check-in system is unnecessarily complicated, and you are required to sign a six-page contract immediately after paying for the stay. The contract is provided only in Italian, so if you actually read it, you may think twice before signing it :) The problem is that you only receive it after you have already paid. At 35°C, the air conditioning was not working properly. After switching it on, condensation water started pouring into the room within about five minutes, directly onto electrical outlets next to the entrance door. This was an extremely dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. We contacted the company managing the apartment and were told that the air conditioning might have issues on very hot days — which is rather ironic, as this is exactly when you need it. The unit continued to leak water after a few minutes of use, regardless of the temperature. I suspect incorrect installation. As a result, we could not use the air conditioning at all during our stay, despite paying for it. This was particularly disappointing because air conditioning was one of the reasons we chose the property. The apartment uses an electric boiler for hot water, and there is a note in the bathroom warning guests to keep showers short because the hot water may run out. This information was not disclosed when we booked. With three people, we experienced the issue only once, when the last person had to finish the shower with cold water. The apartment is also located near busy roads, so it is quite noisy with the windows open. Normally this would not be a major problem, but with the air conditioning unusable, it became an issue. The check-out process was also unnecessarily complicated, requiring WhatsApp photos to confirm that the keys had been returned to the lockbox. If you do not have a mobile phone, this property is probably not for you. Overall, we would definitely not rent this place again if we return to Milan — not even at half the price.

Good location beautiful appartment

Great location close to shopping mall and metro. Beds very comfy. Property very clean. All windows have electric shutters, small balcony. Smart TV and WiFi worked well. Secure parking.

Free parking only accessible with keys so had to find somewhere to park to go in for keys first and then again move car on departure before leaving keys.

could be better if they changed the beds.

The size of the apartment. The sober decoration.

Both beds were terribly uncomfortable, no fitted sheet in main bedroom, springbed with shameful mattress in the second bedroom. Bed made with 2 crossed single sheets. When you entered the bed you hit the other sheet or had to under it, in contact with awful mattress.

Great place

The apartment is in a great place. We had concert in Ippodromo Snai La Maura, which is 15 min walking distance away. Also, the Metro line, and food store are right across the street. Easy to connect to the city center. The apartment was well equipped, instructions were clear. The owners were welcoming!
