On our 8 day trip this cabin was, by far, the best place we stayed. It really is very remote, so be sure you are ok with that. I believe it was something close to 12 miles back to Custer and most of that is dirt/gravel roads. For us, this was perfect. Super peaceful, beautiful property. Even horses on the property that were friendly. The owners were super friendly and helpful and great to chat with. We will absolutely stay here again in the future. We are already looking forward to it.

About this cottage rental

Located in Custer, this welcoming cottage brings it all within your reach. Jump into your car and make short work of the 28-minute drive to Custer State Park or the 30-minute drive to Black Hills National Forest (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

A BBQ grill and a ceiling fan are featured at this 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental. Be sure to check out the kitchen, stocked cookware and paper towels. And you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll have a washer and dryer, too. Other amenities include bed sheets and heating.

On our 8 day trip this cabin was, by far, the best place we stayed. It really is very remote, so be sure you are ok with that.
