Sehr schöne, geräumige Unterkunft mit sehr guter Aussicht über Horta und Pico und einer großen Dachterrasse. Die Unterkunft ist schön eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Verfügbarkeit von Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine ist ein großes Plus. Das Wohnzimmer und das Schlafzimmer haben jeweils eine eigene Klimaanlage und die Fenster haben Fliegennetze.
Für den Preis würde ich erwarten, dass die Reinigung auch die finale Entsorgung des Mülls beinhaltet. Leider wurde auch kein Kaffee bereitgestellt, sodass man diesen extra kaufen musste.

I had a wonderful stay at UpTown Apartments, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for my time in Faial.
The apartment is beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped. I particularly liked its layout, with the living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs, connected by a nicely integrated internal staircase. The kitchen has everything you might need, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The location is also great. The apartment is situated slightly uphill from the centre of Horta, with a somewhat steep final stretch, but I personally enjoyed the walk. The marina and the town centre are only about 10 minutes away on foot, unless you find yourself stopping along the way to admire the beautiful views of Mount Pico!
One of my favourite things was having a direct view of Pico from the bedroom. It was wonderful to wake up and look towards the mountain, especially knowing that I was planning to climb it.
Horta is also a great base for exploring Faial and visiting Pico, with easy access to the ferry terminal.
Everything went smoothly, from booking to check-in and check-out. I especially appreciated the flexibility to stay a little longer on my departure day.
The only minor issue was the washing machine, which seemed to make an unusual noise and may not have been draining properly, as the clothes were left with a slight unpleasant smell. However, this didn't take away from an otherwise excellent stay.
Overall, a lovely apartment, a great location and a very enjoyable experience. I would happily stay here again!
