Great loction but very basic condo- bring your own soaps, towels and pillows
The number of beds and loft space was a bonus for our family of 6. Dining area was nice as it allowed our family to sit together for meals (table seats 6) and family games. The location is great for those that want to ski or go into the Main Street area for shopping. While you can walk to everything it’s also easy to drive and use the free trolley as well. Parking at the complex was close and only 1 flight of stairs which was nice. A ski locker was a bonus as equipment could stay downstairs. The hot tub was great and close by- everyone in our party enjoyed but it does close pretty early (8pm).
Beds weren’t comfortable. Bed pillows were old and thin. I had my son go to Walmart to buy us pillows, not something I planned but they were that bad. Couches were really uncomfortable and the throw pillows on the couches smelled gross so we put them on the bench in the corner. Spare blankets in the closet looked old and were disheveled so I didn’t want to use fearing they were not clean as they looked Ike someone had used them.
Please evaluate the pillows and towels in this unit. The homeowner should make small basic refreshes to include all bed pillows, couch pillows bath and kitchen towels- they were the worst I’ve ever seen in a rental but could be a super easy fix. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans were disappointing as well- a few very basic adds are a must if the unit is presented to people that pay for use. The pans and utensils are what I’d expect in a college apartment not a mountain condo that is being rented for use.
We were provided with a 1” x 5/8” mini bar of dove soap for each bathroom with a tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner (one for each bathroom) for 6 people to share for 5 nights stay, please either offer adequate soap or simply tell prospective customers in the listing that they should bring their own. The competition offers mounted dispensers of body soap, shampoos and conditioner in all showers. I have stayed at 3 other nearby units that are much more comfortable and meet the average person’s expectations for all the above mentioned basics.
