My stay at Hotel Bellas Artes was wonderful.
I had an issue with my room the first day. I had booked the King room with Patio and Bathtub. Turns out the bathtub is on the patio, and the patio is on the interior of the building and is open up to a glass covered roof. I was OK with that until I realized that every sound echoed down from above into my room. I asked for a different room and was moved to a King room overlooking 5 de Mayo. This room was much quieter, although I go to bed early so I did use a white noise app on my phone to drown out some of the street noise. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was immaculate. I was given two water bottles every day and there is a small refrigerator which is stocked with drinks and snacks.
You really can't go wrong with this hotel. It is in the middle of the Centro Historico, there are museums on all sides, the Zocalo is three blocks away, the Palace de Bellas Artes is one black away, restaurants are within an easy walk (and La Pagoda is literally next door). Great hotel, great location, great visit!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The staff was great and very welcoming. Nice place to stay if you want a peaceful and relaxing sleep. I highly recommend it.

Great location blocks from Zócalo and Bellas Artes. If you want to be in Centro, this is the place
