Having stayed in several of the hotels in Gündoğan Bay, we can confidently state that Olira is one of the best properties - the attention to detail is visible and noticeable in the room from the quality of the construction to the amenities. The water pressure was so great that we did not want to leave the shower. The pool is nice, and the hotel has a the dock on the water with good shading. The buffet breakfast has good variety of Turkish breakfast items. The manager, Mr. Orcan, is very attentive and helpful.
A couple issues do remain however - parking is problematic and what parking space they do have is on an incredibly steep hill, making you worry whether your vehicles’ brake will be able to handle it. The rooms’ outside doors have been recently replaced with fire doors (good), but they are so heavy that it is difficult to open them (bad).
Overall, great place to stay in Gündoğan. Be prepared, however, to pay Gündoğan prices.
