Our stay in Dubrovnik, Croatia, was a mixture of positive experiences and a couple of unfortunate incidents. First, I want to highlight the excellent location! Everything was just steps away, including restaurants, shops, and many of Dubrovnik’s beautiful attractions. It was incredibly convenient to explore the area on foot. The room itself was extremely small, but despite its size, we were able to sleep comfortably and get a good night’s rest. Unfortunately, we experienced a very upsetting incident during our stay. One evening, around 9 PM, my husband and I were simply sitting on the outdoor stairs, having a quiet conversation, when a woman from a neighboring building suddenly threw what appeared to be several stacked paper cups containing liquid toward us. I believe it was water, but I cannot say for certain. I was honestly frightened and shocked by what happened! I completely understand and respect that local residents live in these historic neighborhoods and deserve peace and privacy. However, we were not being loud or disrespectful, and it was only around 9 PM. Throughout our visit, we saw both locals and tourists sitting on the stairs, talking and enjoying the atmosphere. If our presence was bothering someone, I truly believe there were much more respectful ways to communicate that rather than throwing objects at us. I understand that this incident was outside the accommodation’s control

Great Property. Very centrally located with the Old town. Plenty of steps but this is the nature of the old town. Will be back again.

Our hostess made a special effort to come to the apartment after we’d arrived. She gave us a great dinner recommendation, and helpful suggestions for learning more about Dubrovnik.

5 / 10

Excellent location in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town, ideal if you need to go back to the room before dinner etc. Very easy to locate - the host was very helpful and recommended various local restaurants and beaches. Would definitely stay again!
