About this house rental

Located in Kyoto, this welcoming vacation home brings it all within your reach. Your feet will make short work of the 4-minute walk to Hanamikoji Street or the 8-minute walk to Kawaramachi Street. Check out other neighborhoods and see more of Kyoto by hopping on a metro at either Sanjo Keihan Station, a short 4-minute walk away, or Shiyakusho-mae Station, 7 minutes away.

Marigusa is a lovely traditional Japanese house nestled in a quiet street. While there was a table and chairs for eating, we really experienced traditional Japanese living as there was no couch and we sat on the tatami mat floors. One of the bedrooms also had floor futons for bedding, and it was actually quite comfortable. Overall, a unique cultural experience.
