Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended!
My family of four (my wife, two teenagers, and myself) stayed in this apartment, and I feel it’s important to share our disappointment to help others make an informed decision. This stay was far from what we expected.
The issues began upon arrival. We booked an apartment with three bedrooms, but to our surprise, the third bedroom was not available! After contacting the owner, we were told that nothing could be done about it. This was completely unacceptable. As a result, our teenagers, who don’t get along very well, were forced to share a bed, which put a strain on the atmosphere of our vacation.
Unfortunately, this was just the beginning. There were several other significant problems:
Swimming pool out of service: One of the main reasons we chose this accommodation was the pool, but it was unavailable during our stay.
Dirty towels: The towels provided were unhygienic, with old stains of blood and feces on them.
Broken air conditioning: The air conditioner in the downstairs bedroom was not functioning, an issue that had already been mentioned by previous guests in the guestbook. Although the owner promised to have it repaired, this never happened.
Unsafe balcony door: The balcony door could not be locked, leaving us feeling unsafe at night.
Faulty hairdryer: When my wife tried to use the hairdryer after showering, it caused a short circuit, which startled her greatly. This could have had much worse consequences! Upon inspection, we discovered the hairdryer was burned out and had clearly been in this condition for quite some time – extremely dangerous!
This stay was a series of disappointments and often felt unsafe and unpleasant. The negligence of the owner had a significant negative impact on our vacation, and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking this property.
