Loved the self check in. Really friendly phone call welcome. Nice little cleaning buddle was helpful. Lots of towels. Washer/dryer and dishwasher made things convenient. Beautiful site which was well maintained. Good location for local attractions and was easy to get to fish and chip shop, tescos etc. Cabin and hot tub were of high quality. Lots of kitchen items to help with self catering.
I slept well on the bed but my husband didn't, he opted for the sofa. There was a broken slate on arrival which we moved towards the bottom of the bed. Extractor fan during the windy weather did keep me up one night and it flaps and clinks. Information about on site take away, pool, driving range etc were not included in welcome book, nor was a map so we feel we did not make the most of the site. No frying pan. Enjoyed the hot tub despite the poor weather.

Everything. The Hot Tub. Spotlessly Clean.
The Uneven driveway leading to the Site.
6 / 10Average·Oct 2026
It was a nice lodge and the Jacuzzi was good.
The dining room chairs were rickety. One totally unsafe. TV very temperamental and no instructions. Only Two pillows in cases for double bed. Vacuum cleaner so full, unable to suck so we had to clean it prior to use. No on site food available. No laundry facilities
