A great place to stay if you want total peace and quiet in a place that is close to all main attractions in the north of
Friendly welcome and the property was quiet. It had games inside the room which our 4 year old loved. It was large and spacious and had everything you needed.

a place made with love
The place is decorated with so much love and attention to detail - it was better than in the pictures.
We love the fact that towels and bed clothes smelled of fresh laundry. The decoration details, all of this was good quality and matched. Such a nice difference from most of spanish apartments that have no decoration and if have, they are random pictures of local beach that were probably bought in souvenir shop, or cheesy quotes.
Even the hair dryer felt good quality, heavy in hand.
There were some games in the room too.
We didn't cook but there were various spices, teas and even a bottle of olive oil.
I love that the bathroom had all the cosmetics you may need. Even though I brought mine, it was amazing to find face wash, body lotion, sun protection etc. How thoughtful and amazing.
Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather, one day super windy (that kitchen stuff was flying), next day cold, and third day rainy. With such weather, going outside to cook is not the best experience. Also using the outside space wasn't possible.
The room itself is a bit dark and cool, which I imagine must be great for summer. there was a heater, but didn't figure it out how to switch it on. On a beautiful sunny day, using the outside space, or keeping the doors open would be amazing.
Wifi wasn't the best - I used my own phone data.
And the parking... well. Reading other reviews I checked google maps and it didn't seem so bad.... but it turned out to be much steeper than in the pictures. Not a big problem. First couple of rides felt tricky but then you get used to it. There is more even and wide road 500m down the road, you could park there but that means walking up the hill, or park on the road near the house. There was plenty of space but somehow I was concerned the car wouldn't manage to stay in place on such a steep road (which of course is not true because other cars manage to do that)

Private Rooftop Apartment with Outdoor Kitchen and Great Location for Exploring North Tenerife
We had a wonderful and unique stay at this rooftop apartment in Santa Úrsula. The entire rooftop area was private, offering beautiful views of the mountains and the sea — a perfect place to relax, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The outdoor kitchen was really well-equipped with a gas stove, fridge, and sink, and had a great setup for cooking and hanging out. A special touch was the hand-picked selection of wines and beers available for purchase, each with a description — you could just pick a bottle and leave cash in the bowl. It made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. We especially loved having our breakfasts in the outdoor kitchen every morning.
The indoor sleeping area and bathroom were both very cozy and comfortable.
There’s a supermarket conveniently located just about 50 meters up the hill, and several great guachinches (local Tenerife restaurants) nearby — offering an authentic local experience with fantastic food and wine. Just keep in mind that walking to these places also involves some steep climbs!
The apartment is a great base for exploring the north of Tenerife — day trips to places like Anaga National Park, El Teide, local wineries, Puerto de la Cruz, and Santa Cruz are all very doable. Parking was never a problem — we found free spots on the street at different times of the day, but you can also park inside the premises for a small daily fee.
Our host, Iván, was really welcoming and helpful. He greeted us personally and was always around if we needed anything. He also has a small garden on the property, so you’ll probably spot him tending to it.
Overall, a very special place to stay – we really enjoyed our time there and would happily return!
One small thing to mention is that it got a bit chilly in the evenings after the sun went down, but there was a heater provided that worked well, so it wasn't a big issue.
Location-wise, be prepared: the apartment is located up a very steep hill from Santa Úrsula. It can be a bit challenging to drive, although there’s an alternative, less steep (but longer) road if needed.
