Location to everything was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Very pet friendly.
Property is old and dated, pool room used for storage and pool was unavailable, bathroom had mold, outside around the property is nasty with raggedy mattresses, ductwork, Sheetrock, etc, A/C knob wouldn’t set, sink would cause knocking in the walls when faucet is turned on.

Close proximity to Fort Knox and very well priced. They are in the process of remodeling which was made aware at checkin. The staff at check in (about 530pm) and the over night lady were the kindest and most helpful front desk I may have ever encountered! Once they complete the renovations this will be a great hotel! (Our rooms were pretty much updated minus some electrical cord issues and the bathroom)
Room Took too a bit to cool off, and breakfast was only 7-9am we were up and gone by 7 and didn’t make it back by 9.

It looked very clean and the staff was very nice! I also don’t mind the “dated” feel of the hotel. I think you should lean more into it! It’s not a holiday inn, so don’t decorate it like one. The building has character and history, so embrace it!
Pretty sure the queen beds in our room were not queens, they were full sized mattresses on queen bed frames. The AC unit in the room was broken when we got to our room (the face plate was hanging off), but it still worked normally and it was late at night, so we didn’t mind.
