Great funky hotel with excellent staff and a real vibe. Was gutted I only had one night. Definitely going back and chilling on the bar area. Thanks

The hotel owner is a lovely, friendly, welcoming gentleman who engages in interesting conversation. He served us breakfast (coffee and pastries) in tableware that he had actually made himself (!) and told us all about his passion for ceramics. It was quite a unique stay.
The building itself is highly unusual and has enormous charm. The garden/restaurant is a shisha restaurant and it looks as though you've been transported to a completely different place - it's got lush, green plants and pots of colourful flowers and sweeping arches - all made by hand by the owner. Extraordinary! It is not like being in North London at all - it's very exotic. I didn't get to spend an evening in the shisha restaurant but I understand that it's very popular.
Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the tea, coffee and biscuits. There was a slight issue with the bathroom light but it was not a big problem. The shower is good. There are complimentary toiletries - always a bonus.
The location was very good for me: I could get the tube back into central London when I wanted to and I could use my car to get to Barnet FC for the function I had to attend. The location couldn't have been better, really. Parking on the nearby street was not ideal but it worked out because I didn't end up with any parking charges or annoying any local residents.

Bedrooms need updating, showers were not power showers very low warm water, no fridge i. Room The room had no ac bedroom mattress could do with updating could feel the springs

Location was easy to get too. The water pressure of the shower was good and hot. The TV unit had good access to different streaming platforms.
The floorboards creaked throughout the room with every step and noise from upstairs was easily audible, including footsteps and creaking floorboards. The hotel is located on a busy road and the windows provided very little sound insulation, making external traffic noise noticeable throughout the stay.
The main entrance door felt flimsy and did not provide a strong sense of security. Additionally, the pillows had an unpleasant odour and appeared unclean, as though they had not been properly washed.
I was also advised upon arrival that the main bathroom light may stop working and that I should use the illuminated ring light around the bath mirror as the primary source of lighting for the bathroom.
The outlets by the bed was positioned behind it so you have to rely ont he sockets on the opposite side of the room.
The towels provided appeared old, worn, and stale.
