Disappointing
Beautiful sea view from the balcony.Free parking.
Unfortunately, everything was a disappointment.
Before our arrival, I sent several messages asking how and when we could collect the keys, but never received a reply. When we arrived, nobody greeted us (we informed the host through Booking that we would arrive between 6:00 and 7:00 PM), nobody told us which apartment was ours, and there were no instructions whatsoever. A key had simply been left in one of the apartment doors, so we had to assume it was ours and check ourselves in.
Next day, the owner came to our door upset and asking for IDs because we had not reported to the non existent reception after arriving. The "reception" was not signposted in any way, and despite asking several times before our trip, we never received any information about the check-in procedure.
The biggest issue was cleanliness. The floors were dirty. The kitchen and bathroom, especially the sink and shower, were dirty. We found someone else's hair and soap residue in the shower, and a dirty duvet in the wardrobe. For an apartment costing over €130 per night, basic hygiene should be the absolute minimum.
The apartment was also poorly equipped. There wasn't even hand soap. A used candle had been left on the table. There were also numerous maintenance issues. The main light in the apartment didn't work. The kettle could not be closed properly, some of the cutlery was bent, one of the chairs was damaged, and the only shelf in the room was tilted.
The bedsheet was old and covered in pills, the bedding was made of polyester, and the pillows, filled with feathers, very uncomfortable.
Bathroom window could not be opened, and there were no other windows in the apartment for proper ventilation. The balcony doors are actually solid PVC doors. There were also unpleasant smells of fuel and motor oil coming from the nearby garage that could be noticed while sitting on the balcony.
The TV only receives a few channels via antenna.
