Even before we arrived at the apartment, we knew we were going to have an excellent stay. The communication from the host was proactive, friendly and professional. Getting to the apartment was easy (from Luqa International Airport) -- a 15-minute drive (even taking into account Malta's appalling traffic!) We were able to park easily, for free, just at the end of the road, and picking up the keys was simple and satisfying. Throwing open the door to the apartment for the first time was a very pleasant surprise: the photos on Booking.com are impressive, but the reality exceeds the pictures! The lounge area is exceedingly comfortable, and the kitchen is the best (and best-equipped) of any apartment or accommodation we have ever visited. It would be possible to cook practically anything in it using the equipment provided. Bathrooms and bedrooms were super-clean. Huge amounts of storage space in the bedrooms -- you'd need to be travelling with a fully-packed large van to even come close to filling all the wardrobes! Plenty of natural light from the windows -- this apartment was well designed from the start -- and the furnishings are very stylish. Walking down to the harbourfront area of Marsaxlokk is very easy and pleasant -- downhill all the way -- and takes just a few minutes. There's a huge selection of restaurants down there, and strolling along by the water's edge makes for a lovely evening stroll after a meal. Close to the apartment -- under five minutes -- is a well-stocked local Spar convenience store. You could buy everything you need from there without needing to travel to one of the bigger supermarkets in neighbouring towns. In fact, it would be very possible to stay at this apartment without hiring a car at all. You could easily get a Bolt or Uber from the airport, and the bus service from Marsaxlokk is excellent. Getting to Valetta no problem at all, and very cheap. All in all, this apartment was fantastic to stay in!

This apartment was beautiful. Completely furnished and equipped with everything you need.
Beach towels could have been provided and a power point in the ensuite would have been useful.
