Luxurious accommodation, beautifully designed and wonderfully clean, beautiful village location but near the Chora for easy access to supermarkets, lovely view. Best of all, however, are the incomparably delightful hosts, Vasilis and Maria, who are so kind, attentive and generous. Our stay will be unforgettable because of their extraordinary hospitality! Thank you!

The property was lovely and exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfortable with very nice linens and lots of pillows. The bathrooms were modern and had very nice showers. There were plenty of luxurious towels, including some for the beach.
The kitchen had every possible item needed for cooking, but we never needed to, as Maria cooked such wonderful local dishes for us! Vasilis would bring them to our door with a very proud smile, and that pride was warranted. Maria’s food was fabulous…orange pie, sweet milk lemon pie, omelette, green beans with garlic and pine nuts, homemade bread, Pastitsio, baked Naxian potatoes, and homemade jams…just to name a few of the items we enjoyed. And, Vasili was so kind! He made us hot Raki with herbed honey as a cold remedy for several of us.
We had so much fun communicating using Google Translate!

Staying at Pankati was a wonderful experience! The house is located in a charming, peaceful village and offers beautiful views. The location is perfect, just a 10 to 15 minute drive from the port, some of the best beaches, and Naxos Town, with several great restaurants nearby as well.
The terrace is a huge plus and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The interior is modern, spotless, and incredibly cosy, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
Vasilis and Maria were amazing hosts. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We even had the pleasure of tasting some delicious homemade Greek dishes prepared by Maria, which made our stay even more special!
We absolutely loved our time at Pankati and would happily come back. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Maria und Vasilis und haben uns von Anfang an unglaublich willkommen gefühlt. Als wir abends gegen 22 Uhr ankamen, hatten die beiden bereits auf uns gewartet und uns sogar angeboten, noch etwas für uns zu kochen. Diese Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft haben wir während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts gespürt.
Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit einem neuen, selbstgemachten Frühstück überrascht. Alles wurde von Maria frisch zubereitet und war wirklich lecker, von der Omelette, die ein wenig an eine Tortilla erinnerte, bis zu den feinen frischen Zuccinibällchen. Dazu gab es immer wieder frischen Cake und selbstgemachte Marmelade. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Wert Maria auf frische Zutaten und eine liebevolle Zubereitung legt.
Die Aussicht von der Unterkunft ist einfach traumhaft. Wir sind morgens oft länger als geplant sitzen geblieben, weil wir beim Frühstück einfach nicht genug davon bekommen konnten. Dazu kamen die schönen Gespräche mit Maria und Vasilis, die unseren Aufenthalt noch persönlicher gemacht haben.
Vasilis hat uns ausserdem viele tolle Tipps für Strände und Restaurants in den umliegenden Dörfern gegeben. Ihm war es wichtig, dass wir möglichst viel von Naxos entdecken und die Insel richtig kennenlernen. Sein persönlicher Lieblingsstrand war dabei tatsächlich ein absoluter Traum!
Maria war jederzeit für uns da, wenn wir etwas brauchten, ob neue Handtücher, Bettwäsche oder einfach ein kleiner Wunsch zwischendurch.
Nach sieben Tagen waren uns Maria und Vasilis so sehr ans Herz gewachsen, dass uns der Abschied überraschend schwergefallen ist. Genau das macht diese Unterkunft für uns so besonders: Man fühlt sich nicht einfach wie ein Gast, sondern ein bisschen wie zu Besuch bei Freunden.
Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen!
